Alan "Doc" Reasor

September 30, 1951 ~ August 6, 2022 (age 70)

Alan “Doc” Reasor was called up to the big leagues on August 6, 2022.  While we mourn this great loss Heaven celebrates a victory.

Alan was born on September 30, 1951, to Jim and Maxine Reasor in Liberal, Kansas.  Alan grew up in Perryton, Texas with his two younger brothers Gary and Mark.  Alan was proud to call himself a Ranger where he proudly wore the #70 and later enjoyed weekend drives back to his hometown.  Alan worked the oil field most of his life and knew the business better than anyone.  So much that he spent 10 years overseas as a general manager building the first ever chemical plant to that area.  Alan was Father to 5, and Grandpa to 12.  His most important role and legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren and the wisdom and advice he shared over the years.  A great love for the mountains, storytelling, Astros baseball, and fishing bleed through those he loved and shared his life with.  Alan being the only known man to catch and release Meredith Mike of Lake Meredith will pass on for generation.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Maxine Reasor; brother, Gary Reasor; and sister, Marjorie.

Alan is survived by brother, Mark Reasor and wife Angela of Canyon, Texas; the mother of his children, Terri Reasor of Fritch; sons, Christopher Reasor of Fritch, Brandon Reasor and wife Christy of Conroe, Texas, Jamie Reasor and wife Chrissy of Borger, Texas, Matthew Reasor of New Waverly, Texas; daughter, Kyra Stephens and Creed of Fritch, Texas; niece, Mallory Stevens of Canyon, Texas; nephew, Cole Reasor of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Aunalia, Lillian, Jacob, Tayla, Christopher, Lillianna, Phillip, Hannah, Jack, Dylan, Brayden, Rylynn; great niece, Cheyenne; along with many friends he came to call family over the years.

A private celebration of his life is to be scheduled at a later date.
