OBITUARY
Zona Carol Hinson Vilas was born June 4, 1926 at her grandmother’s home in Lamesa, Texas, and the Lord took her home on January 3, 2021.
She grew up near the Kalgary Community. Zona graduated from Sul Ross State College where she was the editor of the Sul Ross Yearbook, a member of the Sachem organization, and played volleyball. She was a junior member of the USO and served in the Air Force soldier base at Marfa when she taught in Fort Hancock. ...
